Dart Container has sponsored the recent community cleanup at Eagle Nest Park, organized by the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) and Keep Orlando Beautiful during PLASTICS鈥 National Plastics Conference. The event brought together 40 volunteers, who collected more than 150 pounds of waste, including recyclable materials, helping keep Orlando鈥檚 parks and waterways clean.

The event was a collaboration through the Community Impact Task Group of PLASTICS鈥 Future Leaders in Plastics Committee (FLiP)鈥攁 professional development initiative for plastics industry professionals under the age of 40. The task group鈥檚 mission is to foster collaboration, provide an outlet to give back, and positively impact the environment and communities in which the plastics industry serves.
