My Green Michigan, the food waste recycling company that is continuing to grow its operations throughout Michigan, announced that it received the Award of Excellence in Recycling at the annual conference of the Michigan Recycling Coalition (MRC) in May. 聽The Award of Excellence in Recycling recognizes 鈥渋nnovative and inspiring programs and leaders who have made a difference in Michigan.鈥

In addition to a subscription cart service for both residential and business customers, My Green Michigan has partnered with several municipalities to offer free food waste drop-off opportunities at convenient locations, including Portage, Lansing, Meridian Township, Ferndale, Canton Township, Madison Heights, and Eastpointe.
