Meridian Waste North Carolina, LLC, a subsidiary of Meridian Waste, an integrated, non-hazardous solid waste services company, celebrated the success of its聽Second Annual A-MAZE-ing Pumpkin Patch聽held on聽Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the聽Tri-Corners Landfill, located at 5833 Foster Store Road in Liberty, N.C. The free, family-friendly fall festival welcomed聽more than聽700聽guests聽from the local community to enjoy a full day of fun, food, and festivities celebrating 鈥渁ll things pumpkin.鈥
聽Guests of all ages took part in a variety of pumpkin-themed activities, including the聽charity pumpkin patch,聽pumpkin painting,聽pumpkin ring toss, and聽pumpkin tic-tac-toe. The excitement didn鈥檛 stop there鈥攆amilies also enjoyed a聽corn maze,聽inflatable slide,聽corn hole, and the always-popular聽hayride landfill tours.
Adding a unique twist to traditional fall fun, Meridian Waste once again hosted聽鈥淭ruck-or-Treating鈥, a creative spin on trick-or-treating that showcased the company鈥檚 collection trucks and those of local vendors. Children dressed in costumes visited each truck for candy and treats provided by the company鈥檚聽many generous vendor and community partners聽who helped make the event a success.
As a good host, Meridian Waste made sure no guest went hungry, offering a聽complimentary lunch聽featuring freshly fried聽chicken fingers, chips, and beverages聽for everyone attending. The company鈥檚 team members and volunteers served meals throughout the afternoon, ensuring a warm welcome and full stomachs for all.
The聽charity pumpkin patch聽raised more than聽$1,600聽through guest donations to 鈥減ick鈥 a pumpkin, matched by Meridian Waste. Proceeds benefited聽The Invictus Program: Protecting Childhood, Pursuing Justice, the event鈥檚 selected charity for both 2024 and 2025.聽聽The聽Invictus Task Force聽is a specialized multi-agency coalition uniting the Randolph, Alamance, Davidson, and Forsyth County Sheriff鈥檚 Offices with聽国产麻豆land Security Investigations (HSI)聽and the聽State Bureau of Investigation (SBI). This collaboration enables coordinated efforts across jurisdictional boundaries where predators often operate.聽Invictus鈥擫atin for 鈥渦nconquered鈥濃攕ymbolizes the task force鈥檚 steadfast commitment to defending childhood and pursuing justice for victims of exploitation.
