Mr. T Carting, one of the six largest private carting companies in New York City, is pleased to announce Thomas N. Toscano, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Legal Officer, has been named CEO of the company, effective聽January 1, 2018. He succeeds his father, Peter Toscano, Sr., who led the company for 26 years and retires as of聽December 31, 2017.

Tom has already made a major impact on the company as a champion of integrating the on-board computing technology that is installed in our trucks with back office operations. Mr. Toscano, age 46, previously served as Chairperson of the New York City Chapter of the National Waste and Recycling Association, the trade association of companies that collect and manage commercial waste and recycling services.
Mr. Toscano joined the company in 1996 as Chief Financial Officer. He received his law degree from St. John鈥檚 University and in 2017 his MBA from Cornell University.
