°Õ³ó±ðÌýNational Fire Protection Association®Ìý(NFPA®) will host its annual Conference & Expo at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas on June 16-18, 2025. This comprehensiveÌýevent brings together thousands of the industry’s leading professionals who will attend more than 130 educational sessions addressing the latest issues, challenges, and trends in the world of fire, electrical, and life safety, including code compliance, emergency preparedness and response, emerging technologies, global issues, public education, building and life safety, fire protection systems, industrial hazards, and much more.
ÌýThe NFPA Expo will feature more than 400 exhibitors, showcasing the latest products and services available to help meet and maintain compliance with prevailing codes and standards in the design, construction, and operation of buildings and facilities of every kind. In addition, three NFPA Specialty Theaters, which all attendees are invited to attend, will feature three full days of presentations that address timely issues with a focus on how technologies are being applied to the world of fire and life safety, including fire service trainings, emergency response and management, hazardous materials mapping, pyrotechnics, and facility maintenance.
This year’s NFPA Spotlight on Public Education (SOPE) will include eight education sessions covering a wide range of public health topics and the powerful impact of community risk reduction; the Focus on Latin America will offer eight comprehensive sessions addressing industry issues impacting the region.
The keynote speaker at the conference’s opening general session will be Keller Rinaudo Cliffton, co-founder and CEO of Zipline, the largest commercial autonomous system in the world. This is the second time Cliffton is presenting as keynote speaker. In 2018, he shared how Zipline uses drone delivery operations to transform the way goods are globally moved, radically expanding access to healthcare, consumer products, and food. This June, Cliffton will provide an update on Zipline’s reach and impact, as the company now completes a commercial delivery every 70 seconds and serves more than 4,000 businesses, organizations, and governments, saving lives, reducing emissions, and increasing economic opportunity.
The NFPA Technical Meeting, which allows NFPA members and the public to express positions through debate on each certified amending motion (CAM), is scheduled to take place on June 19-20. Final details of the Technical Meeting schedule (including final determination of whether day two will be necessary), as well as the full agenda of all CAMS to be debated and acted upon, will be announced by the Motions Committee on or before May 20. Anyone who has been a continuously active member of NFPA in good standing since December 21, 2024 and is registered for the 2025 Technical Session will be eligible to vote on all CAMs.
