The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) and Informa Markets announced the official signing of a four-show, eight-year partnership agreement to continue producing the industry鈥檚 premier environmental tradeshow, WasteExpo, and to jointly launch a new biennial event, the Waste Summit.
The contract was signed during WasteExpo 2025 in Las Vegas and marks a milestone in the long-standing collaboration between NWRA and Informa Markets. This new agreement extends through 2033 and positions both organizations to deliver enhanced experiences for exhibitors and attendees while supporting the industry鈥檚 ongoing innovation and growth.
Starting in 2027, WasteExpo, an Informa event, will shift to a biennial format, allowing for larger product launches, expanded exhibits, and deeper engagement opportunities at each show. On alternate years, beginning in 2026, NWRA and Informa will introduce the Waste Summit鈥攁 new event focused on education, relationship-building, and leadership development. The inaugural Waste Summit is planned for May 2026, in Washington, D.C.
