The New York State Association for Reduction, Reuse and Recycling (NYSAR3) once again sponsored the New York Recycles! Calendar contest. This contest helps New York achieve its goal of higher excellence in waste reduction, recycling, reuse, and composting through the eyes of young students as they create visual artwork based on these themes. All students in kindergarten through 12th grade in New York State public and private schools, youth organizations or home schooled were invited to participate. This year, NYSAR3 received over 120 submissions from students across the state!

The New York State winners receive the honor of having their artwork featured in the 2026 New York Recycles! calendar, a framed copy of their winning artwork and other prizes.聽Copies of the final 2026 calendar will be free to the public in November.
