Parker Hannifin Corporation (NYSE: PH), the global leader in motion and control technologies, announced that it has received approval from the California Air Resources Board (ARB) to sell the RunWise庐 Advanced Series Hybrid Drive System under a dual-name Executive Order (EO) including the Parker Hannifin RunWise system, paired with the Cummins 2015 model-year engine. These certified hybrid vehicles can help improve fuel economy and efficiency in California refuse fleets by up to 50 percent. The RunWise hydraulic hybrid system replaces a conventional transmission and delivers increased productivity by accumulating energy from the vehicle’s braking system.
