The Philadelphia Eagles said they have signed an “extensive” multi-year corporate partnership with Waste Masters Solutions. Under the agreement, Waste Masters Solutions of New Castle, Del., will serve as the organization’s “waste solution partner” at Lincoln Financial Field and the NovaCare Complex, the team’s practice facility, both in South Philadelphia.
And that’s no easy task. The football team generates more than 850 tons of waste, on average, each year. The Eagles said through their efforts in recycling and composting, the organization has, since 2012, diverted more than 99 percent of that waste from landfills.
The Eagles and Waste Masters Solutions will collaborate on all efforts relating to recycling and waste disposal. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
