In a strategic move to support continued growth and operational excellence, Premier Truck Sales & Rental, a leading provider of refuse and recycling trucks in North America, has acquired an additional 6.5 acres of land and a 25,000-square-foot building adjacent to its Valley View headquarters near Cleveland, OH.

The purchase increases Premier鈥檚 total campus to 38 acres with 11 buildings encompassing over 200,000 square feet of fabrication, service, and administrative space鈥攁ll part of its mission to deliver high-quality, ready-to-work refuse equipment to municipalities and private haulers across the country.

Founded in 1981 by owner Joey Lojek, Premier Truck Sales & Rental has grown into one of the largest refuse truck operations east of the Mississippi River, with a fleet of more than 1,200 trucks鈥攁 substantial portion of which are actively working with customers throughout the Eastern United States.

This latest acquisition aligns with the company鈥檚 long-standing strategy of bringing critical processes in-house. 鈥淥ver the years, we鈥檝e found that handling fabrication, paint, service, and detailing internally allows us to maintain higher quality and better turnaround times,鈥 said Lojek. 鈥淐ontrolling our own infrastructure is key to maintaining our service commitment.鈥

The company鈥檚 Valley View campus features:

  • Two down-draft paint booths
  • A custom-designed $2 million automatic truck wash
  • Multiple repair and detailing facilities
  • On-site parts and equipment storage
  • And a growing number of fabrication bays, all supported by dedicated backup power systems and hardened concrete floors engineered to endure heavy-duty operations.

Premier is currently renovating a nearby 28,000-square-foot structure to serve as a new mount and fabrication facility, slated to open this June. The project represents an estimated $6 million investment and will enhance the company’s capabilities for outfitting and customizing refuse bodies.

The newly acquired 25,000-square-foot building will undergo similar upgrades in the months ahead, including structural enhancements and infrastructure improvements to meet Premier鈥檚 high operational standards.

With a workforce of around 100 employees and growing, Premier is actively recruiting skilled tradespeople, technicians, and drivers to support expanding demand. 鈥淲e’re always looking for good people鈥攁nd good land,鈥 Lojek added. 鈥淲e know this area well, and the community knows us. This has been home for over four decades, and we plan to keep growing right here.鈥
