Methodology & Scoring
The World鈥檚 Most Ethical Company assessment is based upon the Ethisphere Institute鈥檚 Ethics Quotient庐 (EQ) framework which offers a quantitative way to assess a company鈥檚 performance in an objective, consistent and standardized way. The information collected provides a comprehensive sampling of definitive criteria of core competencies, rather than all aspects of corporate governance, risk, sustainability, compliance and ethics.
Scores are generated in five key categories: ethics and compliance program; corporate citizenship and responsibility; culture of ethics; governance; and leadership, innovation and reputation.
Republic has been steadily building on its industry-leading sustainability platform, as demonstrated by its Climate A List rankings in the CDP 2016 Global Climate Change Report and the CDP Supplier Climate A List, as well as its inclusion on both the Dow Jones Sustainability 鈥� North America and World 鈥� Indices.
