Rumpke Waste & Recycling, the City of Circleville and the Ross, Pickaway, Highland and Fayette Counties (RPHF) Solid Waste District leaders gathered to mark the first day of curbside recycling on June 2. 聽鈥淭oday marks the beginning of a service that will benefit the residents of Circleville, our city, and the environment,鈥� said Mayor Michelle Blanton. 鈥淲e are excited to partner with Rumpke Waste & Recycling to bring curbside recycling to the City of Circleville!鈥�
Recyclable materials collected in the City of Circleville are taken directly to The Rumpke Recycling & Resource Center in Columbus for processing. Rumpke鈥檚 state-of-the-art recycling technology ensures that 98% of recycling is recovered and sent to manufacturers within a 250-mile radius, keeping 80% of our material in Ohio.
