The Tennessee Recycling Coalition announces the 2nd聽Annual Women鈥檚 Environmental Leadership Summit Oct. 1-2, 2025, at the Hilton Cool Springs Hotel in Franklin. All women in the recycling industry, sustainability programs, health and environmental protection sector, or who are interested in becoming a leader in community recycling, are encouraged to attend.
鈥淭his environmental leadership summit is for all women who are involved in the recycling sector, whether at the state, regional, community or local level,鈥� Executive Director Amber Greene, Tennessee Recycling Coalition, said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 exciting to see the continued growth of female leadership in our industry.鈥�
The mission of the summit is to discuss the most critical issues surrounding recycling in Tennessee, to be inspired by guest speakers who are subject matter experts, and to work together to form solutions within the environmental industry.. On Oct. 1, all registrants will have the opportunity to tour the City of Franklin鈥檚 Recycling and Solid Waste Facility.
